LVIA Seminar – Assessing Landscape and Visual Issues: theory, reality and good practice

Cornwall Environmental Consultants invite you to a knowledge sharing seminar, supported by The Landscape Institute South West Branch and the RTPI SW.  Places are limited and attendance must be bookeddownload booking form here.

A series of sessions will be held across the South West during November aimed at increasing understanding amongst planning officers, consultants, Members and developers of the principles, process and value of landscape and visual assessment, and why it should be carried out and evaluated by appropriately qualified professionals. They will also provide a summary of good practice references and the level of detail considered appropriate for various scales and types of development.

The seminars will be delivered by one of CEC’s Chartered Landscape Architects who is also an experienced L&V assessor, and will be followed by open floor discussion of the various issues involved. Lunch will be provided along with the opportunity to meet and catch up with fellow planners in your area.
