The seminar will help you understand the many issues faced by trees in the urban environment and how to mitigate them through successful tree pit design e.g. by observing available root space; engineering requirements; root management; irrigation; drainage; aeration; support; above ground protection.
You will learn how to create tree pits for a variety of different urban locations that both support the healthy growth and development of trees, whilst simultaneously protecting landscape features and utilities from the issues which trees can cause.
Attendance is free and lunch is provided. Places are limited to 25 people and allocated on a first come basis – please register your interest below.
