Healey’s Cider Farm
CEC landscape architects were commissioned to produce a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment to accompany proposals for the erection of a wind turbine associated with Healey’s Cider Farm.
Proposals were for a one there bladed 50kW Endurance E-3120 wind turbine in the overflow car park. The purpose of the assessment was to determine whether the wind development in the given location, conflicts with policy and guidance and to examine the magnitude of impacts and the degree of effect taking into account the sensitivity of receptors. The report concluded that the proposal discussed in the LVIA can be accommodated in the landscape of the study area without causing unacceptable harm to landscape and visual resources.
