We are trained in landscape design and assessment as well as engineering, plant knowledge, surveying and ecological basics, which enables us to apply a holistic approach and understanding to the development design and assessment process. CEC Landscape provides services ranging from masterplanning and development support, initial feasibility studies to detailed design, environmental impact assessment (EIA) including landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA), site appraisals and tree surveys. We work closely with our ecology team to increase the biodiversity value of our landscape schemes.

Recently, Green Infrastructure issues and Ecosystem services have gained a much stronger position within the planning and development sectors. CEC have produced Green Infrastructure strategies for developments and are starting to develop Ecosystem services skills. The Landscape Institute have produced a short video and publications on Green Infrastructure.
